1. Clarifying our goal: What is the goal of St Pats?

  • To get the users (students) more involved in school
  • Engage them in their courses?
  • Engage them into the real world?
  • Use the latest IT to learn outside the classroom walls?
  • Communicate/learn outside the box
  • Promote St Pats?
  • To educate in a collaborative, instead of competitive setting using the latest technologies?
  • Encourage students to act on the world’s greatest challenges?

2. Who are the users and the stakeholders?

  • Students
    • Where do we begin?
    • Introduce a Grade 9 computer literacy course?
    • Use web 2.0 software, working collaboratively in the cloud computing arena?

    • how do we communicate with parents?
    • Do they want their children in a new system of education, not streamlines, unstructured classroom without walls
    • …with open ended solutions, project based learning?
